Happy New Vooba. A Rebranding Story

A Time For Change

Change is hard, it's something we like to avoid where possible. Particularly when we are attached to an idea or something we have put a lot of time and energy into.

In most cases change is for the best, and when you have good reason to change you should jump in and embrace the benefits change can bring.

So that's what we have done! In 2018 PPC Stars began a transformation process. But let’s start from the beginning...

A Team of Stars

In June 2013 Tony and his sister Jennie set up PPC Stars at their kitchen table. The company started out as a PPC agency with the aim to build great campaigns and do a great job for their clients and become a star, hence PPC Stars. By April 2014 PPC Stars had become a limited company and acquired a small office in Storrington. In the same year PPC Stars achieved Google Partner status and grew to a team of 6 expanding the range of services on offer to include website design.

In 2015 the team expanded again moving to new offices in Midhurst, but by the summer of 2016 we had moved again to nearby Barlavington, the offices are located right in the heart of the South Downs National Park with stunning views and a great atmosphere. Originally we occupied 3 converted stables, now in 2019 we have a 24 strong team consisting of 4 key departments, spread between 7 stables.

With such rapid growth, and an influx of talent and fresh thinking we realised we needed to show the world how far we have progressed from Tony and Jennie at the kitchen table. We are no longer just a PPC Agency, we offer SEO, Social Media, Web Design and much more. So we felt the time was right for change.

A Group Project

Today, 01.01.19 we became Vooba. We spent the months leading up to Christmas preparing for such a big change. We put together a small team, with representatives from each department who worked together with the help of the wider team to research, create, discuss and make hundreds of decisions that have led to Vooba.

 I am so proud of my team for all the effort and hard work which has gone in to the brand redevelopment, they have done an amazing job and I think our website shows that! It was a hard decision to move away from a name which has served us so well, but it was time to take the agency to the next level and we feel Vooba gives us that stature and elevates us as a leading digital agency in the UK. By moving with the times, we are hopefully showing our existing clients and new clients that we embrace positive change to take our business and your business to the next level! 


Our website, designed by our Head of Web & Creative Design Andy Morris, a fantastic responsive design with clean easy to edit HTML code. A tribute to our progress in web design and constant research into the latest web design trends.

The content for the website was collated and optimised by Enrique Schmidt our Head of Digital, his understanding of SEO best practices’ and digital marketing have been invaluable in our rebranding strategy.

You may have come across this blog via our new social media pages, set up and managed by Chloe Albuery. Thanks to Chloe we have a new strategy for social. We now offer revitalised social media packs, with your business goals the focus of your campaigns. Applying this strategy to our own social pages we now have some great platforms to share interesting and useful information as well as interact with and develop our Vooba community.

Through display advertising we will increase our brand awareness to bring in more business and improve customer retention. Managing our Vooba Remarketing campaigns will be Sam Morales, Head of PPC, who will be monitoring the success of our new website and keeping our advertising fresh & relevant.

As Web Project Manager I have used my organisational skills to bring the team together and managed the rebranding project. I have also helped out with content writing, social planning, email marketing and design. This project has been a fantastic learning curve for us all, learning about each other, understanding the business more in depth and working together towards improved goals and a new vision.

A Vision for the Future

We have grown into a fantastic full service agency and our vision is to continue to be one of the most trusted digital marketing agencies, always improving our services and relationships with clients by providing results oriented digital marketing strategies. We aim to grow further and expand our expertise to help more businesses grow and see a fantastic return on investment from their digital marketing.
