Paul Fairminer

Operations Manager

I began my working life at a bank in London in a variety of finance roles. After an enjoyable 20 years I decided to take voluntary severance and use the opportunity to travel for 18 months.

After returning I started a new career in golf club management at a number of different clubs including one with a hotel.

After 10 years I felt it was time for another career change and when Tony offered me the opportunity to join him at Vooba I decided the time was right to learn something new and bring my years of management and operational experience to help Tony grow Vooba into a top class agency focusing on customer service for it clients.

Hannah Marley

HR & Accounts

I originally come from a retail management background, including Service and HR Management. Having 15 years of retail experience has given me excellent customer service which I strive to pass onto all our customers at Vooba.

I have worked for the company now for three years and look after the invoicing and accounts, please contact me with any queries big or small.

I also manage the HR side of the company and am currently studying for CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Practice.

Enrique Schmidt

Head of Digital

I chose a career in marketing back in 2005 when I started studying for my bachelors degree.

Why? Because I wanted to reach people and understand how we tick - there’s a lot to marketing you know; it’s a psychological study!

Sitting at a desk all day though was never my intention and so I needed to get active in my freetime and being someone who likes to put their learning into practice, I decided to combine my two main passions: I started a business encouraging people to do adventure sports; where I took the role of marketing manager, (who did the sports on the side), whilst completing my qualifications.

My degree and post grad were soon not enough as I could see we were entering the age of digital and so in 2013 I did a professional diploma in digital marketing. Now we are entering 2019 and the age of big data is truly here; ‘marketing’ has come a long way; our shopping preferences are tracked and the way we interact has vastly changed and this is simply amazing; challenging but amazing: This means we have the facility to reach the world in one click and if businesses know how they can be at the forefront and the one that is seen with that one click.

I am very happy to say that I have worked with Tony now for over two years as the head of SEO at PPC stars, (he’s a great boss and the job has been very fulfilling). I am very proud that we have retained over 90% of our SEO clients and I am now moving to be Head of digital with Vooba; the PPC stars ‘child’ (young, but with plenty of experience).

I am now looking forward to moving into my new role as head of digital and working with the brilliant team that has been created and for my clients; where I will bring together all ‘digital’ streams of marketing, so that we can optimise your marketing budgets to maximise your revenues - and help you be that business that is seen with that ‘one’ click!

Katie Lamond

Business Development Manager

I started my career in media sales in regional press, where I found my love for helping SME’s and building strong business relationships. This is also where I learned lots of techniques to engage the right target audience.

After 7 years I went on to further my career and moved to Yell, where the first 6 years was predominantly directory advertising sales which over time moved into the digital marketing world. Selling Websites, PPC, Social, SEO, and helping manage online reputations.

I love how targeting methods have become very sophisticated over time. I have sat and passed my Google exams and am Google certified.

12 Years after starting with Yell Tony offered me the opportunity to put what I have learned into practice to come and work with his growing agency.

I am passionate about working with clients to identify their business goals and providing solutions that will help deliver these. Lead generation, online reputation and presentation in particular.

I love the culture at Vooba. Every client is offered a unique solution that is tailored made to their needs, and the service offered to the client is incredibly personal. Daniel Few

Head of Technical Services

I started my career in IT as an apprentice in a secondary school in Hampshire. With 7 years experience in IT, my previous experience system management and my personal interest in deve loping web applications, the role at Vooba was a great next step to combine these skills. At Vooba I am responsible for the technical maintenance of websites and supporting clients with server, email and domain issues, as well as anything else that technical that may need resolving!

Frankie Sillett

Technical Support

I started working for Vooba in October 2018 and I work alongside Daniel in the technical team.

I started my career as an IT Assistant in a secondary school in Hampshire. My role included managing users, setting up emails, troubleshooting both hardware and software issues, and maintaining the school's network. I also worked a lot in the print room, handling print jobs for staff, maintaining the printers around the college and modifying documents and images for staff using Photoshop.

I joined Vooba because I had an interest in marketing and wanted to learn what it takes to a part of a support team when it comes to online marketing. At Vooba I am responsible for the technical maintenance of websites and supporting clients with domain, emails and web hosting issues.

I want to use my experience at Vooba to learn more about providing great customer support.

Carol Lintott

Business Development Manager

My background is within the financial services industry, after a successful career with a major Bank, I run a Consultancy business providing compliance services, project work, past business reviews, training and team management to similar financial institutions. I then took a break from Financial Services to start up a subscription based web service.

Helping businesses start up and develop has been a big part of my more recent work. The opportunity to help businesses achieve with Vooba enables me to use this experience and put my communication and customer service skills to good use.

Ben Turner

Business Development Manager

My career to date has been as a Polo Player/Polo Umpire, playing and umpiring different levels of polo across the world, meeting some fantastic people along the way.

Whilst I thoroughly enjoy the view from my office, I felt I needed a new challenge in my life which is when a friend introduced me to Tony Humberstone and his great Team at Vooba.

I couldn’t wait to get started into my new role in Sales and was very excited about the challenge ahead.

Throughout my training, the Vooba Team have been really welcoming and very supportive. It is clear the Team’s knowledge and expertise is second to none and I am really enjoying being in such a vibrant and professional environment.

Spotty

Client Liaison Officer

My name is Spotty. I am a Jack Russell X. I was rescued from RSPCA Brighton.

I am employed at Vooba as Client Liaison Officer. Part of my role is to entertain the staff. I  am much loved by everyone. Sometimes I whine and cry but generally I am well behaved.

In the summer I patrol the central courtyard and perform meet and greet duties although I draw the line at the postman. Sometimes I jump on Tony’s sofa and get told off. I find this funny as I think he actually believes he is in charge, but we know the real truth!
