The Brief
The Slow Cyclist craft the very best cycling and walking journeys, offering exceptional slow travel experiences that surprise and delight in equal measure. Oli the owner of the company quite his London job jumped on a bike and cycled to Australia to watch the Ashes. Out of this journey came the idea for The Slow Cyclist.
Taking others to explore the beautiful parts of the world that Oli had discovered on his travels is what the company and now the website is about. Oli required a truly unique website for their unique holidays. The website was required to be in keeping with branding already established and to be clean and simple, to make the most of the stunning photography.
In order to Oli and his team to be able to keep the website up to date and add the latest trips and blogs a WordPress site was created.

The Result
We delivered a completely customised WordPress website, showing off the stunning great experiences and photography. The calming colour palette and simple layout and navigation offers and easy yet fulfilling experience to the user.
A custom coded booking calendar to search through the trips on offer, filtering by month, year and destinations, was created to integrate with the WordPress platform. As well as an “in the press” section that was crafted to meet the project specific design requirements.
With a SEO migration carried out before launch and ongoing SEO in progress this site is set to continue improving results for The Slow Cyclist.
